Mandatory Events

Everything you need for the main stage: complete rules, scoring, walking patterns and example videos. Queens ages 3+ compete in all three events. Ages 0–2, Kings and Shining Stars compete in Formal Wear and C2C Wear.

Formal Wear

All contestants

Dress up. Step out. Shine with confidence.

Time limit: 60 Seconds

Present a polished, age-appropriate formal look while showcasing poise, personality and confident stage presence.

Contestants ages 0-5 may wear a tea-length or baby doll-style formal dress, or a scholarship-style evening gown.
Contestants ages 6 and older should wear a floor-length or high-low, scholarship-style evening gown.
Kings should wear a formal suit or tuxedo.
All attire should be age-appropriate, flattering and well-tailored.

Coast to Coast Wear

Time limit: Maximum 45 seconds onstage

Show your personality in the official Coast to Coast look while presenting confidence, energy and modeling ability.

Wear the official Coast to Coast International T-shirt provided at check-in.
Pair it with blue denim jeans or shorts and white sneakers of your choice.
The T-shirt may be tucked or untucked but cannot be altered.

C2C Wear is 40% of Overall Score for Ages 3+

C2C Wear is 50% of Overall Score Ages 0-2, Kings, Shining Stars

Onstage Interview

A simple question. A chance to be yourself. 3+ Only

Time limit: 30 Seconds

A brief onstage interview designed to highlight confidence, personality and communication skills. Queens ages 0-2, Kings and Shining Stars do not compete in Interview. Regional question: What would you do if you won the C2C Ultimate Grand Supreme and $10,000?

Wear the official C2C T-shirt, blue denim jeans or shorts and white sneakers.
Contestants ages 6 and older are expected to complete the interview independently. Accommodations may be made if needed.
Contestants ages 3-5 may have a guardian accompany them if needed.
A handheld microphone will be provided.
Interview is completed on the back center star
Coast to Coast Wear is completed immediately after answering.
Regional question: What would you do if you won the C2C Ultimate Grand Supreme and $10,000?

Onstage Interview Is 20% of Overall Score for Queens Ages 3-50+

Make an impression from head to toe.

Time limit: Submit One Week before Pageant online.

Submit a professional-quality full-body, head-to-toe image that captures personality, confidence, connection and overall visual appeal.

Community Service

All contestants

Make a difference beyond the stage.

Giving back is a true mark of royalty. Contestants are encouraged to complete at least 10 hours of meaningful community service before the event.

Rules & guidelines

Complete a minimum of 10 community-service hours before the event.
Submit all hours before the event using the provided form.
Service must be completed within three months of the event date.
Contestants who complete the commitment receive the Lauren Legacy Award. Those with the most service hours receive additional recognition during the Red Carpet Awards.

Star Search

All contestants

Explore opportunities beyond pageantry.

Contestants are scouted during Runway by top agencies and managers. This is a chance to be noticed for future modeling and entertainment opportunities.

Rules & guidelines

Star Search recognition is awarded through the Red Carpet Awards.
The top Star Search choice in each breakdown earns free entry into the 2027 International Finals Star Search Competition.
Selected contestants may also receive a crystal medal.

The following products are permitted:

Blemish-covering concealer
Light blush
Clear lip gloss
Clear mascara

Very light blemish-covering makeup is permitted but is not required. Any permitted makeup should look natural.

Full foundation and fake tanning are not permitted.

Makeup for Ages 12+

Contestants ages 12 and older

All makeup is permitted for contestants ages 12 and older.

Contestants may use products that enhance their natural beauty and help them feel confident. Although there are no makeup-product restrictions for this age group, Coast to Coast still looks for a polished appearance and natural glow.

Hair & Nails

Hair and nails

Hair Extensions & Hairpieces
For contestants ages 0–11, hair extensions and hairpieces are permitted, provided they appear natural or are part of the child’s everyday appearance. Full wigs are also welcome for children who need them due to a medical condition.
Hair extensions are permitted for all contestants ages 12 and older.
Hair Styling
Coast to Coast welcomes all hairstyles, including curly, braided, straight, shaved, wavy, natural, or any other style that reflects the contestant’s individuality.
A traditional “pageant” hairstyle is never required. We encourage each contestant to choose a hairstyle that helps them feel confident and present their personal best onstage.
Nails
Nail polish is permitted in all divisions but should complement the contestant’s overall appearance without becoming a distraction.
Artificial nails are not permitted for contestants under age 11.

Ultimate Grand Supreme

Top Title

The highest-scoring all-around contestant across every division receives a scholarship covering the full $1,250 base fee for the 2027 International Finals.

Miss Grand Supreme

Grand Supreme

The highest-scoring all-around contestant in the Miss age group receives a $625 scholarship toward the 2027 International Finals.

Awarded to the highest-scoring all-around eligible contestant after the Ultimate Grand Supreme is selected.

Jr. Miss Grand Supreme

The highest-scoring all-around contestant ages 6-11 receives a $625 scholarship toward the 2027 International Finals.

Regional Royal Court Runners-Up receive a $350 scholarship toward the 2027 International Finals.

Awarded to additional top placements within each age division after higher division titles are selected.

Top Finalists

Formerly Future Stars

Contestant celebrated as Top Finalists receive a $250 scholarship toward the 2027 International Finals.

This recognition celebrates every contestant's effort and achievement at the Regional competition.

6 Grand Ambassadors

Merit-Based Recognition

Grand Ambassador titles recognize outstanding personality, willingness to try, dedication to community service and genuine congeniality.

Selected exclusively by the Coast to Coast team from contestants who did not earn a Division title or higher. These titles are not based on scores.

6 Spirit Titles

The contestants who receive the most votes from their support systems are crowned with People's Choice titles.

Red Carpet Awards

Purchasing the Red Carpet Package includes entry into the Regional optional events and eligibility for Red Carpet Optional Awards. These awards are separate from overall scoring, do not affect final placement or title eligibility, and contestants may win multiple awards.

All contestants

Contestants who submit at least 10 hours of community service before the competition are honored during the Red Carpet Awards.

A beautiful medal and recognition through the Lauren Legacy Award.

Community service must be completed within three months of the event and submitted before the event date. Contestants completing the most service hours may receive additional honors.
