By participating in Coast to Coast International and any affiliated events operated by ECUSA Pageant Productions NY Inc., all contestants, parents, guardians, guests, coaches, affiliates, and attendees acknowledge and agree to comply with the following rules, policies, procedures, expectations, waivers, and conditions.
These rules are established to protect the integrity, fairness, safety, professionalism, and reputation of the organization and all participants involved.
1. Competition Integrity
Coast to Coast International is committed to maintaining the highest standards of fairness, integrity, professionalism, and transparency throughout all areas of competition. The organization utilizes advanced adjudication procedures, comprehensive scoring systems, and qualified judging panels to ensure an equitable and unbiased competition.
All judging decisions, scores, placements, awards, titles, scholarships, and competition results are final and are not subject to review, appeal, challenge, or dispute under any circumstances.
2. Eligibility & Representation
All contestants must meet the eligibility requirements established by Coast to Coast International, including age divisions, titleholder requirements, and registration guidelines.
Contestants may not falsify information regarding age or any submitted documentation. Any falsification or misrepresentation may result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of titles, awards, scholarships, prizes, or future participation privileges.
The organization reserves the right to verify eligibility information at any time.
3. Conduct & Sportsmanship Policy
All contestants, parents, guardians, family members, guests, coaches, and affiliates are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and sportsmanlike manner at all times before, during, and after the event.
Conduct deemed inappropriate, disruptive, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or detrimental to the integrity or reputation of Coast to Coast International, ECUSA Pageant Productions NY Inc., its staff, judges, sponsors, contestants, venues, or affiliates may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to: disqualification; revocation of titles, awards, scholarships, or prizes; suspension or permanent ineligibility from future events.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: harassment or bullying; unsportsmanlike behavior; verbal or physical altercations; disrespect toward staff, judges, volunteers, or contestants; interference with event operations; public disparagement of the organization or its representatives; defamatory or damaging comments made through social media, online forums, livestreams, interviews, or public platforms; intimidation, retaliation, or hostile conduct toward participants or staff.
4. Judge & Staff Interaction Policy
To preserve the integrity and impartiality of the competition, contestants, parents, guardians, and affiliates may encounter members of the adjudication panel throughout the event weekend. Under no circumstances may contestants, parents, guardians, or affiliates engage judges in conversation regarding competition matters, scoring, placements, contestant performance, personal relationships, gifts, favors, or any topic that could create the appearance of influence, bias, or impropriety.
Any attempt to improperly influence judges, staff members, tabulators, or officials may result in immediate disciplinary action or disqualification.
5. Attendance, Scheduling & Participation Expectations
Contestants are responsible for arriving on time and fully prepared for all scheduled events.
Schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the organization. Contestants, parents, and guardians are responsible for checking official communications, updates, and schedules throughout the event.
Failure to attend required events, rehearsals, check-ins, interviews, competitions, or scheduled activities on time may result in point deductions, removal from that area of competition, disqualification, or forfeiture of awards, titles, scholarships, or prizes.
6. Private Event & Admission Policy
Coast to Coast International and all affiliated activities operated by ECUSA Pageant Productions NY Inc. are private events. Admission to competition venues, backstage areas, rehearsal spaces, dressing rooms, production areas, and other designated competition locations is restricted to properly credentialed individuals only.
All attendees, including contestants, parents, guests, coaches, photographers, and affiliates, must possess and visibly wear the appropriate event credentials, badges, or paid admission wristbands at all times while within authorized event spaces.
Individuals without proper credentials or wristbands will not be permitted entry into restricted or ticketed areas and may be asked to leave the premises.
Unauthorized access, credential sharing, duplication, tampering, or misuse of event credentials or wristbands may result in removal from the event, contestant penalties, or disqualification.
The organization reserves the right to deny admission or remove any individual from the premises at its sole discretion.
7. Photography, Video & Media Release
By participating in Coast to Coast International, all contestants and their parents/guardians grant ECUSA Pageant Productions NY Inc., Coast to Coast International, and its authorized representatives the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, record, livestream, videotape, and otherwise capture the participant's name, likeness, image, voice, performance, and appearance.
These materials may be used, reproduced, edited, published, distributed, displayed, or promoted in any format or media now known or later developed, including but not limited to: social media, websites, advertising campaigns, promotional materials, livestreams, television or digital broadcasts, and printed publications.
Participants acknowledge that no additional compensation or approval is required for such use.
For contestants under the age of 18, the parent or legal guardian grants this permission on behalf of the minor contestant.
8. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
ECUSA Pageant Productions NY Inc., Coast to Coast International, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, venues, sponsors, affiliates, and representatives shall not be held liable for: personal injury, illness, accidents, loss, theft, or damage of personal property, travel-related incidents, delays, acts of third parties, or circumstances beyond organizational control.
Participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless ECUSA Pageant Productions NY Inc. and all affiliated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from participation in the event, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Health, Safety & Emergency Policies
All participants and attendees are expected to comply with venue policies, local laws, health regulations, safety procedures, and instructions provided by event staff or venue personnel.
The organization reserves the right to remove any participant or attendee whose behavior may pose a safety concern or disrupt event operations.
10. Personal Property & Backstage Responsibility
Contestants and attendees are solely responsible for their personal belongings, wardrobes, accessories, electronic devices, props, awards, and valuables.
Coast to Coast International and ECUSA Pageant Productions NY Inc. are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unattended items at any time during the event.
Backstage areas must remain orderly, respectful, and safe at all times.
Photography, video recording, livestreaming, or electronic recording may be restricted or prohibited in dressing rooms, changing areas, backstage areas, or other designated private spaces. The organization reserves the right to remove any person who violates backstage, dressing room, privacy, safety, or credential policies.
11. Scholarships, Awards & Prize Policies
Scholarships, prizes, gifts, sponsorships, and awards are distributed in accordance with organizational policies.
Failure to comply with organizational rules, titleholder responsibilities, payment obligations, or conduct expectations may result in forfeiture of scholarships, prizes, titles, or benefits.
Certain scholarships or prizes may require additional documentation or fulfillment requirements prior to release.
Participation in Coast to Coast International does not guarantee placement, scores, titles, crowns, banners, scholarships, prizes, gifts, sponsorships, modeling opportunities, media coverage, appearances, endorsements, social media features, or future opportunities.
12. Titleholder Expectations, Agreement, Removal & Replacement
Individuals awarded titles agree to uphold the image, values, professionalism, and reputation of Coast to Coast International throughout their reign.
Titleholders may be required to participate in appearances, promotional activities, media opportunities, community service initiatives, and organizational events.
Titleholders may also be required to sign and comply with a separate titleholder agreement outlining reign responsibilities, appearance expectations, conduct standards, promotional obligations, and use of title.
The organization reserves the right to remove, suspend, replace, or appoint a successor titleholder if a titleholder resigns, becomes ineligible, fails to fulfill responsibilities, violates organizational rules, engages in conduct deemed damaging to the organization, or fails to maintain good standing.
13. Social Media & Public Statements Policy
Contestants, parents, guardians, and affiliates agree to use professionalism and discretion when posting or commenting publicly regarding Coast to Coast International.
The organization reserves the right to take disciplinary action regarding: defamatory or false statements, harassment or cyberbullying, damaging or inappropriate social media activity, and public attacks against contestants, staff, judges, sponsors, or affiliates.
This policy applies before, during, and after the event.
14. Payments, Fees, Refunds, Chargebacks & Transfers
All registration fees, deposits, competition fees, optional competition fees, admission tickets, workshops, advertising purchases, merchandise, sponsorships, and other event-related payments are subject to the payment, refund, transfer, and deadline policies established by Coast to Coast International and ECUSA Pageant Productions NY Inc.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable New York and New Jersey law, all payments are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, deposits, registration fees, optional competition fees, event fees, advertising purchases, ticket purchases, merchandise, sponsorships, and add-on purchases.
Event transfers may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the organization. Approval of a transfer is not guaranteed. Transfers, if approved, may be subject to deadlines, availability, administrative fees, event eligibility requirements, and written confirmation from the organization.
Participants, parents, guardians, and purchasers agree that they are responsible for reviewing all event details, deadlines, eligibility requirements, payment obligations, and policies prior to submitting payment.
Unauthorized, improper, or disputed chargebacks may result in removal from the competition, forfeiture of contestant status, cancellation of registrations, loss of titles, awards, scholarships, prizes, or benefits, and/or ineligibility for future events. The organization reserves the right to dispute chargebacks and provide registration records, signed agreements, policy acknowledgments, communications, and proof of participation or services rendered to payment processors, banks, or other appropriate parties.
Failure to complete required payments by published deadlines may result in removal from the competition, loss of contestant status, forfeiture of reserved spots, or ineligibility for awards, titles, scholarships, or prizes.
